4. $30,000 One-Man Helicopter
If flying is your thing, check out the GEN H-4. Powered by 4 x 125cc 2-cylinder engines, the H-4 boasts "2 sets of coaxial, contra-rotating rotors, which eliminates the need for a tail rotor." Two caveats: you have to build it yourself and it costs $30,000. Product page here.
The GEN H-4 can fly to a maximum altitude of 1000 meters at a top speed of 90 km/hr (59 mph) for up to 30 minutes
Put simply, Gold Vish's "Le Million De Lu Nuit" is the world's most expensive cell phone -- encrusted with 120 carats worth of VVS-1 grade diamonds. 2. $1.53-Million MagLev Bed
According to Dutch-site Revu, the world's first "floating magnetically levitating bed" (scale model) has been unveiled at the Miljonaire fair in Kortrijk. One drawback, it's priced at a whopping $1.53-million (1.2-million euros).
Designed by Dutchman Janjaap Ruijssenaars, it's got enough magnets to keep 900 kilograms (1,984 pounds) floating in the air. To make sure that the bed doesn't float away should it become windy (or "interesting," wink wink), it's tethered to the walls by four cables
Created byMasaaki Nagumo, the "Land Walker" is a wearable robot suit -- think Mobile Suit Gundam -- that stands 3.4m high and weighs a hefty 907kg (1-ton) -- "can walk forward, backward or sideways at 1.5 kph by operating four pedals, and shoots sponge bullets from two air guns installed beside the cockpit."
